Research at the Tosi Lab, University of Turin focuses on the health and behaviour of multiple bee species, including honey bees, bumblebees, and solitary bees.
We aim at better understanding the individual and combined impact of multiple factors on bees. We focus on the role played by pesticides, nutrition, and other major drivers. We closely look at the real world and its rules, including risk assessment.
Our Lab is part of the Department of Agricultural, Forest, and Food Sciences (DISAFA), University of Turin (Italy) founded in 1404.
We believe that a respectful, open-minded, and professional environment nurtures creativity, innovation, and scientific excellence. Our Lab is committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, nationality, socio-economic status, religion, physical ability, or age.
Our Lab welcomes new applicants!
